PEDIATRIC PARTNERS OF AUGUSTA

Pediatricians & Children’s Doctors

Pediatric Partners of Augusta is the largest private practice group of Board Certified Pediatricians and Board Certified Pediatric Sub Specialists in the CSRA. Our goal is to partner with parents in Augusta and help their children to grow into healthy and happy young adults.

We have three office locations to better serve our patients, one in downtown Augusta, one in Evans, and one in Grovetown.  Our Evans office also has our After Hours Clinic, which is open weeknights, weekends and most holidays for your convenience and is always staffed by one of our Board Certified Pediatricians.

We also have a Pediatric Allergist with on-site diagnostic testing for your convenience.  Often we are able to schedule referrals to our specialists within 48 hours, and urgent referrals are seen that same day.

Pediatric Vaccine Policy

The pediatricians and pediatric advanced practitioners of Pediatric Partners of Augusta follow the vaccination schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics. This schedule can be found on our website under the patient information tab.

Vaccinating children and young adults is the single most important health-promoting intervention we can provide for our children. Although we understand there are some controversies about vaccines, we agree with the experts in the field and recommend following the vaccines required for school admission.

Not vaccinating is unsafe and exposes children to vaccine-preventable diseases. This puts the unvaccinated child and other children in the community at risk.

There is no medical reason to deviate from the established vaccine schedule, but we understand that some families feel more comfortable with an alternative schedule. Our expectation is that each child will have received the age-appropriate vaccines for school admission.

It is the policy and practice of Pediatric Partners of Augusta that all patients be vaccinated or declaring that they plan to vaccinate before becoming new patients to the practice. It is not our intent to lose or not accept new patients. However, we must regretfully ask that parents who refuse all vaccinations choose another pediatric practice.

We look forward to serving your child / children on their healthcare journey.

Our practice was the first pediatric practice in the CSRA to become nationally recognized as a Level III Patient Centered Medical Home.

Patient-Centered Medical Home Definition:

The patient-centered medical home is a care delivery model that puts patients at the forefront of care. Treatment is coordinated through the primary care physician with other clinicians in order to ensure a patient receives necessary care when appropriate in a timely manner. The PCMH model emphasizes team-based care, communication and coordination, which is associated with lower health care costs and higher quality care. PCMHs emphasize the use of health information technology and after-hours access to improve overall access to care for patients. One of the overarching goals for PCMHs is to build better and long-lasting relationships between patients and their clinical care teams.
