How do we contact Pediatric Partners?

New patients may call our telephone center staff at (706) 854-2500, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Our staff will inform you of which office is nearest to you, which physicians work at that office, and when the nearest appointment is available.

What age children are seen at Pediatric Partners?

We are delighted to care for children from birth up to 21 years of age. New patients are generally accepted until their 18th birthday. There are, of course exceptions. Particularly handicapped children may need to stay with their pediatrician longer than 21 years.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

We strive to always see our patients promptly. It is our goal to see any new patient that requests a routine or "well child" examination within 2 weeks of the request. Sick appointments for all of our patients, new and old, should be scheduled within 24 hours...usually on the same day! If you have any difficulties with scheduling we urge you to contact our practice manager, Jeff, at 854-2500.

What insurances are accepted at Pediatric Partners?

Pediatric Partners currently participates in the vast majority of the active insurance plans in the CSRA. Unfortunately, there are too many to list. As a general rule, ANY plan that uses University Hospital is also accepted at our offices. A notable exception is CIGNA - we are preferred providers for CIGNA. NOTE: We are not providers for South Carolina Medicaid. The best way to be sure we participate in your plan is to call our insurance office at (706) 854-2500.

What hospitals do Pediatric Partners use?

At the present time all of our physicians have privileges at University Hospital. We do not plan to join the staffs at Aiken Hospital, Columbia-Augusta Regional Hospital, nor Eisenhower Army Medical Center in the foreseeable future. We do perform most of our hospital work at University Hospital because, though we have no economic ties to the hospital, we consider it to be the best hospital for infants and children in the CSRA.

How do I select a pediatrician?

We recommend that prospective patients and their families visit us for an interview. All of our pediatricians are pleased to provide these meetings at no charge. You are welcome to interview with any one, or with multiple different doctors in our group (one at a time, of course!). These interviews are fun and provide you with a time to feel confident you are choosing the right pediatrician for you.
